Bestowal dialogue

'Hullo, do you have some time to spare today?

'If you would lend me a hand, I need to have this satchel of mail delivered to Tighfield as soon as possible. Follow the road south as it bends east and you'll pass through Tighfield. Postman Hartclover ought to be at the Quick Post just past the Elbow's Bend. A fine tavern, indeed, but best enjoyed when not carrying mail for the Quick Post!

'When you're ready, the satchel is on the table right over there. For your sake, don't get caught up in chatter with the folk around Tighfield. Rumours are flying right now that there's some surly Bounders about out of Hithershire, but I don't think there's any truth to it.

'Oh, and tell Postman Hartclover that I received his note and have spoken to the involved parties about shipping cuts of meat in standard envelopes. It will not happen again.

'Do not let me keep you! The Quick Post must carry on!'

Background

Postman Mapledore of Gamwich has asked you to deliver a satchel to Tighfield.

Objective 1

  • Collect the satchel from Postman Mapledore's table
  • Carry the satchel to Postman Hartclover in Tighfield
  • Avoid the Chief's Bounders
  • Avoid Lotho's Bounders
  • Avoid nosey hobbits

Postman Mapledore can be found in Gamwich, in Yondershire.

Deliver the satchel to Postman Hartclover in Tighfield as quickly as possible. Let no nosey hobbits or those surly Bounders interfere with your duty!

Postman Mapledore: 'The satchel for Tighfield is over there on the table. Let no nosey hobbits interfere with your duty!
'Oh, and don't let the satchel get wet. It would be easy enough to have a new one made here in Gamwich, but there's no doubt that the Postmaster would hear about it!'

Postman Hartclover says, "Ah, hullo! What have you brought for Tighfield today?"
